MEDITATION
True health is more than absence of disease. It encompasses all aspects of your life – physical wellness, mental clarity and emotional strength. When you are healthy in body, mind and spirit, you are productive in what you want to do and have fulfilling relationships. You are in command of your thoughts, feelings and actions. You feel empowered in all circumstances. The practices of Meditation, Mindfulness and Praanayam (regulating the life force) help eliminate illness, clear the mind and make our efforts more productive, while bringing health and happiness to our relationships as well.
Meditation is the process of achieving Self Awareness and liberating your Self from the effects of emotional turmoil that produces toxicity and strain in the body. Researchers say that 80 to 95% of the illnesses we suffer are avoidable, since they are the result of our own internal energies fighting with each other, in disharmony. In its simplest form, meditation allows our mindbody’s natural processes to operate freely, without the disruptions caused by the physical, mental and emotional toll of our daily lives. Consequently, the endocrine, neurological, physiological and other control systems return to homoeostasis and the mind and body experience harmony.
